Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully before using GritLeanPulse. They govern your access to and use of our application, website, and services. By using GritLeanPulse, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the GritLeanPulse application or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SJK & Sons LLC® ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company, regarding your use of GritLeanPulse. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service following any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Account Registration
To access most features of GritLeanPulse, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to: • Provide accurate, current, and complete information • Maintain and promptly update your account information • Keep your password secure and confidential • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. Accounts created by minors will be terminated upon discovery. You may not create more than one account, use another user's account, or create an account on behalf of a third party without authorization.
3. Subscription and Payments
GritLeanPulse offers paid subscription plans (Health & Nutrition, GLP-1 & Health, and All-In-One) as well as a 7-day free trial available with any plan. Subscription management is powered by RevenueCat. Mobile App Billing (iOS): Subscriptions purchased through the GritLeanPulse iOS app are processed by Apple through the Apple App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple and is subject to Apple's terms of service and privacy policies. SJK & Sons LLC® does not directly process or store payment card information for mobile purchases. Android (Google Play) is coming soon — terms will be updated when the Android app launches. Web Billing: Subscriptions purchased through app.gritleanpulse.com or gritleanpulse.com are processed through RevenueCat's web checkout, which uses Stripe as the payment processor. By subscribing via the web, you agree to Stripe's terms of service (stripe.com/legal). SJK & Sons LLC® does not store your full payment card details. Free Trial: You may cancel your subscription at any time before the free trial ends without charge. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged at the applicable plan rate. Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis depending on the plan you selected. Billing occurs at the beginning of each subscription period. Cancellation: • iOS subscribers: Cancel through Apple App Store → Settings → Subscriptions. • Android subscribers: Cancel through Google Play → Account → Subscriptions. (Android coming soon) • Web subscribers: Cancel through your account settings at app.gritleanpulse.com, or contact support@gritleanpulse.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods except where required by applicable law. Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect for existing subscribers.
4. Health Disclaimer — Not Medical Advice
IMPORTANT: GritLeanPulse is a personal health tracking and information application. It is not a medical device, and the information it provides does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in this app constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your diet, exercise routine, or medication. The content, tools, calculations, reports, and recommendations within GritLeanPulse — including but not limited to nutritional guidance, body composition estimates, GLP-1 medication references, dose titration guides, and lab result tracking — are provided for informational and tracking purposes only. Always seek the advice of your physician, registered dietitian, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare professional regarding any questions about your health, medical conditions, medications, or treatment plans. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it based on information you have accessed through GritLeanPulse. GLP-1 Medication Information: The GLP-1 Toolkit and related features provide reference information about medications. This information is not a substitute for your prescriber's instructions. Always follow the dosing schedule and instructions provided by your healthcare provider and pharmacist. Emergency Situations: GritLeanPulse is not designed for emergency situations. If you experience a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately.
5. No Outcome Guarantee — User Assumes Responsibility
Individual results vary. The app makes no guarantee of specific weight loss, weight gain, or body composition outcomes. GritLeanPulse is not responsible for outcomes related to use of the app including weight change, health outcomes, or medication effects. By using this app, you acknowledge that health outcomes depend on factors beyond the app's control, including individual physiology, adherence, medical history, concurrent medications, lifestyle factors, and the advice of your healthcare providers. GritLeanPulse is a tracking and data tool designed to help you organize and understand your health data. Achieving any particular health goal is not guaranteed and depends entirely on your individual circumstances and efforts.
6. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
You agree to use GritLeanPulse only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to: • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other user accounts, or related systems • Use any automated system (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service without written permission • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the Service • Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code • Collect or harvest any personal information about other users • Use the Service to send unsolicited communications • Misrepresent yourself or your affiliation with any person or entity • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent health data for purposes of manipulating reports or deceiving healthcare providers • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service Violation of these provisions may result in immediate termination of your account and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, design, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of SJK & Sons LLC® and its licensors. The GritLeanPulse name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of SJK & Sons LLC®. Your Data: You retain full ownership of all health data, logs, and personal information you submit to GritLeanPulse. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store your data solely as necessary to provide the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete your account. Feedback: If you submit feedback, ideas, or suggestions about the Service, you grant us the right to use such feedback without restriction or compensation.
8. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by selecting "Delete Account" in Settings > Account. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service, with or without notice, if: • You violate any provision of these Terms • We are required to do so by law or a court order • We reasonably believe continued access would cause harm to the Service, other users, or third parties Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.
9. Disclaimers and Warranty Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that: • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components • The results obtained from use of the Service will be accurate or reliable • Any errors in the Service will be corrected We are not responsible for any damage to your device, loss of data, or other harm resulting from your use of the Service.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SJK & SONS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. In no event will our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or (b) $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties and liabilities, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut and the United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles. SJK & Sons LLC® is organized and operates in the State of Connecticut. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding individual arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction for disputes involving intellectual property rights. You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
